Catalog description

This course focuses on the care of patients across the lifespan experiencing acute and chronic health alterations. Emphasis is placed on clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care and the integration of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing interventions. Students apply principles of communication, collaboration, professionalism, legal and ethical practice, and health promotion while caring for diverse populations in healthcare settings.
