Introduction to Meteorology

Catalog description

This course is intended to introduce students to meteorology, teach them important and useful terminology and aspects of the atmosphere, and offer them a heightened understanding of solar radiation, global circulation, environmental issues, winds, stability, precipitation processes, weather systems, and severe weather. In addition, basic physical principles, societal impacts, and weather analysis are explored.
