Catalog description

This course provides students with a hands-on opportunity to apply global leadership principles in real-world contexts. Through one of three options—a study abroad experience, a MACU-sponsored trip, or a project-based/service-learning course—students engage directly with diverse cultures and global challenges. Emphasis is placed on reflection, cultural engagement, and the practical application of leadership theories to promote personal growth, intercultural competence, and transformative impact in global and local communities. MUSI 1101 Basic Musicianship Lab (1 cr .) The Basic Musicianship Lab would consist of a series of lectures and video presentations dealing with the subject of music theory. It would include a portion of musical rehearsals to help musicians develop their rehearsal skills. A basic course dealing with the nomenclature, notational symbols, and organization of music.
