Catalog description

A continuation of Calculus II. Vectors in the plane, parametric equations, three-dimensional vectors, solid analytic geometry, and differential Calculus of functions of more than one variable with applications to directional derivatives, gradients, and line integrals are some of the topics covered. Multiple integrals are introduced in rectangular, polar, cylindrical, and spherical coordinates. Proofs of certain theorems are explored.
