Plane Trigonometry

Catalog description

The first part of this course explores the properties of triangles and trigonometric functions and their applications. Topics include trigonometric functions, identities, graphs, inverses, and laws. In the second part of this course, a graphical approach to functions is explored with extensive use of graphing calculators to explore problems and solutions, not just rote memorization. Problem-solving techniques and the programming of graphing calculators are also taught.
