Catalog description

Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software aspects of specialized computer systems designed for specific tasks. These systems are found in a wide range of applications, from everyday devices like smartphones and appliances to more complex systems like automotive and aerospace technologies. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and analyze embedded systems, often involving programming in languages like C or assembly language. Extensive time during "open lab" is expected.
