Catalog description

This course will examine the impact of trauma on learning and the brain’s functionality. Classroom structure, organization, and effective teaching strategies that support learning for students impacted by trauma will be included. Communication strategies appropriate for sharing information with parents or guardians of trauma-impacted students will be studied.
