Catalog description

This course addresses developmentally appropriate practices and the teacher’s role in supporting the education and development of young children ages birth through eight. An emphasis is placed on curriculum planning, including goals and objectives, environment, materials, and settings that meet standards set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Oklahoma Priority Academic Student Skills. Field experience required.
