Catalog description

Mammalogy is a course designed for biology majors. It is a comprehensive study of Class Mammalia. Major topics covered include taxonomy, evolution, morphological characteristics, ecology and behavior, diversity, and world distribution. The laboratory is required and integral in introducing students to species identification, collection, and wildlife conservation.
