Designed as a continuation of the pathophysiology sequence, this course provides students preparing for health-professions graduate programs with a systematic study of the complex, multi-systemic integration of organ failure and chronic disease states. It includes a rigorous analysis of the regulatory and excretory systems, examining how endocrine signals, neural pathways, and renal filtration maintenance, digestive and hepatic systems fail to maintain the internal environment.
