Catalog description

General Botany is a course for biology majors. It is an introduction to the principles of botany, beginning at the cellular level and advancing to the organismal level. The concepts covered include plant anatomy, physiology, genetics, reproduction, and taxonomic relationships. The laboratory is required and integral in introducing students to morphological comparisons and analytical evaluation.
