World Stages

Catalog description

A survey of world stages that includes western theatre history and global performance practices. These courses introduce the student to theatre and performance as a social and cultural construction that is directly related to the place and time in which it occurs. Courses also explore the ramification and manifestation of internal and external influences on the theatre/performance of a given locale.
