Catalog description

Theoretical and practical exploration of the roles of the reading specialist/literacy coach in supporting teachers and other education professionals in the planning, implementation and evaluation of effective literacy instruction. Designed as a practicum or internship to meet specific literacy coaching needs of instructional staff of a school, school system or group of subject area teachers. Prerequisites: 12 credit hours of program requirements, TCE 603 and TCE 610 .
