617 TESOL in PK-12: Literacy Development 3 TCE 617 develops critical understandings of policies and practices impacting English Learners' (ELs') opportunities to learn. Candidates will develop strategies for implementing culturally and linguistically relevant and sustaining literacy learning opportunities in classrooms, as well as for supporting family literacy development in communities.
