Solving Problems Through Government

Catalog description

In this capstone you will have the opportunity to investigate a social problem and scrutinize the implications of government actions. Using the knowledge you have accumulated over the entirety of your undergraduate education, you will collect and analyze evidence to explain the problem/solutions to stakeholders, including policymakers and a public-facing audience. The class will allow students to harness independent research as well as cultivate their writing, presentation, and discussion skills. SC. Prerequisite: POL 241 or POL 243 .
