Catalog description

An introduction to the fundamental principles and processes of the physical world, ranging from classical mechanics to modern physics. By taking a “concepts before calculations” approach, the course engages student with real-world analogies and applications, highlighting the interaction between science and society. Qualitative reasoning is emphasized and basic quantitative problem-solving skills are developed.
