(Internal Medicine): This clinical year course will enable the student to increase their knowledge and clinical skills in a focused clinical environment, Internal Medicine. As a clinical practice course, it is designed to ensure students increase their medical knowledge of disease recognition, treatment and prevention through self-directed study. Clinical practice will be used to improve differential development, history taking, focused physical examinations, diagnostics, treatment, and procedures consistent with practice demands and within professional scope of care unique to internal medicine. Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Physician Associate Program. Co-requisites: PAS 652 , PAS 682 , PAS 685 , PAS 687 .
