Catalog description

A didactic year course designed to introduce the student to basic medical interviewing procedures and techniques necessary to accomplish an appropriate medical history. Students will learn the basics within the art of medical familiarity, gleaning appropriate information necessary to synthesize and apply within the broader framework of the patient encounter. Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Physician Associate Program. Co-requisites: PAS 601 , PAS 603 , PAS 611 , PAS 612 , PAS 613 , PAS 621 , PAS 622 , PAS 623 .
