Introduction to Miami Nursing

Catalog description

This 1-credit course will serve to support first year nursing students during their transition into their program of study. Content introduced will orient students to the nursing profession, Miami requirements and will review available resources and opportunities in the nursing program. It will also provide an introduction to stress reduction techniques and cognitive-behavioral skills to help students succeed during their course of study at Miami University. Prerequisite: Acceptance into Miami Nursing Program.
