Catalog description

Service course. Mathematical concepts and methods of Linear Algebra and Differential Equations important in engineering: matrix operations, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, linear transformations, systems of linear and differential equations, first-order and higher-order differential equations, Laplace transforms, and applications. Note: Credit for graduation will be given for only one of the following courses: MTH 245 , MTH 246 , MTH 347 . Math and/or Stats majors should take MTH 222 . Prerequisite: MTH 249 or MTH 251 .
