Trigonometry

Catalog description

Service course. The course will cover the following topics: functions, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, equations, angles/triangles, identities, and vectors. Students will gain experience in using the topics covered in this course to solve real life problems analytically, numerically, and graphically. Credit will not be given for both MTH 124 and MTH 125 . This course will achieve all of the essential learning outcomes determined by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and listed in TMM003 College Algebra. PA-1A. Prerequisite: ACT Math (24) or SAT Mathematics (580) or SAT MATH SECTION SCORE (580) or Math Placement Test (12) or Miami Intl Math Placement Test (12) or MTH 118 or MTH 122 .
