Catalog description

Service course. The course will cover the following topics: functions, transformations of functions, polynomials, rational functions, logarithmic and exponential functions and their graphs. Students will gain experience in using algebra and functions to solve real life problems analytically, numerically, and graphically. Credit will not be given for both MTH 122 and MTH 125 . This course will achieve all of the essential learning outcomes determined by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and listed in TMM001 College Algebra. V. PA-1A. Prerequisites: ACT MATH score of 20, or MPT score of 7, or SAT MATH score of 520, or completion of MTH 025 or MTH 102.
