Extended College Algebra

Catalog description

This college algebra course is designed to provide a review of fundamental algebra concepts, followed by an in-depth approach to key topics in college algebra. Course topics include: algebra with exponents and radicals, factoring algebraic expressions, simplifying rational expressions, solving equations, functions, average rate of change, composites and inverses, polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, and logarithmic functions. Credit will only be given for only one of the following courses: MTH 118 , MTH 122 , or MTH 125 . Pre-requisites: ACT MATH score of 18, SAT MATH score of 500, MPT score of 6, or ECA-MPT score of 4.
