Senior Design Project

Catalog description

Continuation of ECE/ MME 448 . Student teams, with varied academic backgrounds, develop and conduct major open-ended design projects. Elements of the design process are considered, as well as real-world constraints, such as economic and societal factors, marketability, ergonomics, safety, aesthetics, and ethics; feasibility studies are performed. Students work in teams and communicate their designs utilizing presentations, written reports, and reflective essays. SC. Prerequisite: senior standing in student's major and ( MME 448 or ECE 448 ).
