Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth study of mathematical modeling, and analysis of dynamic systems and introduces the design of controllers to achieve closed-loop behavior. The mathematical models will be developed for multiple domains (mechanical, electrical, thermal, fluids, electromechanical etc.) from first principles. Time and frequency domain techniques will be used to predict the dynamic performance of various engineering systems. Prerequisites: MME 202 , MME 211 , and MTH 246 or MTH 245 . Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MME 305 .
