Product Design and Development

Catalog description

This course explores the product development cycle from product planning to production ramp up. The relationship between customer needs, product design, and manufacturing capability are discussed within a business and engineering context. Students will apply decision making tools and techniques through case studies and a product based design project in order to critically evaluate the course concepts. Prerequisites: MME 231 .
