Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth examination of work in the media industries, exploring the intersection of creative content production, industry structures, business models, and labor practices. Students will research employment trends, workplace cultures, and the social and economic forces that shape media industries. The course also equips students with professional skills and career development strategies, preparing them for successful careers in media fields. Prerequisite: major status (MAC, STC, FST, JRN) or permission of instructor.
