Advanced Audio Production

Catalog description

An advanced study in audio production for film/TV, radio, podcasts, social media and more. Included topics are music recording, narrative, and journalism. The course covers studio procedures, microphone techniques, and control room operations. Students learn audio production theory as well as sound aesthetics and values, providing an overview of traditional sound production and the use of digital audio media. Prerequisite: MJF 146 , major status (MAC, STC, JRN, FST), or permission of instructor.
