Topics in Media History

Catalog description

Through specific case studies in media history, students will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of historical context for understanding media practices and institutions and the process of communication. They will also acquire skills in historical research methods. Prerequisite: major status (MAC, JRN, STC, FST) or permission of instructor.
