Immersive Clinical Experience in Athletic Training

Catalog description

The course is a practice-intensive experience that allows the student to experience the totality of care provided by athletic trainers. In a minimally four-week clinical assignment, the student will participate in the day-to-day and week-to-week role of an athletic trainer. Over the course of the immersive experience, the student must fulfill at least 110 hours of clinical exposure, but not more than 215 hours. Along with the recording of clinical hours, other assessments will satisfy the course requirements. Prerequisite: KNH 602 .
