Catalog description

The course provides an overview of the mechanism, prevention, and management of health conditions commonly seen in athletic training practice. The course examines the affected anatomy and physiology of injuries, explains preventive measures to reduce incidences of such injuries, and provides instruction on procedures employed in injury treatment. Prerequisite: Junior/Senior standing, or Graduate standing, or permission of instructor.
