Focuses on understanding and synthesizing appropriate health behavior change theories and techniques towards developing effective and equitable interventions that improve health outcomes of priority populations and groups. Includes a historical perspective to investigate interactions between health and factors within the applied social sciences. Also includes the study of how health related theories are translated into community and clinical practice using an ecological and systems approach. Cross-listed with EDP 412/EDP 512 .
