This course examines the nutrient needs related to growth, development, and health across the life span. It includes the study of nutrient requirements, nutrition assessment, and nutritional care for those in each life stage (preconception, pregnancy, lactation, infancy, toddler/preschool, child/preadolescent, adolescent, adult, and older adult). Prerequisite: KNH 102 .
