Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Generative AI (Gen AI) and its transformative impact on business and society. Students will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts powering Gen AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt (context) engineering, and multimodality. The course explores the practical application of Gen AI tools for content creation and process automation, while also examining methods for integrating AI with external data and systems. Crucially, it addresses the significant societal and ethical issues, such as bias, misinformation, and the future of work, equipping students with the critical perspectives needed to deploy this technology responsibly. Upon completion, students will be able to strategically evaluate and apply Generative AI to drive innovation and solve real-world business problems.
