Advanced Policy Analysis for Social Work

Catalog description

This course focuses on U.S. social welfare policies and programs. Particular attention is paid to social welfare policy analysis, the nature of social welfare system trends, and their impact on individuals and families across the lifespan. Previous undergraduate course work in social welfare policy is strongly suggested. Prerequisites: FSW 621 , FSW 622 , MSW program admission or permission of instructor.
