Catalog description

This course covers the programming and application of industrial robots in automated manufacturing, including integration with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and machine vision. Students gain hands-on experience with robotic work cells and explore advanced topics such as AI, IIoT, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), industrial data analytics, and cloud-based manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on implementing smart automation solutions using Industry 4.0 technologies and practices like LEAN 4.0 and MES. Prerequisites: ENT 296 or equivalent.
