Elastic relationships between external forces acting on deformable bodies and resulting stresses and deformations are studied. Industrial applications of these relationships to the solution of engineering design problems are emphasized. (Mechanical technology). 2 Lec. 1 Lab. Prerequisite: ENT 151 and A grade of C or better in ENT 271 ; this course must be taken for a grade, it may not be taken on a credit/no-credit basis.
