Catalog description

Introduces core manufacturing processes like welding, casting and machining with emphasis on manual machining and CNC. Students develop hands-on skills in lathe, milling, and measurement instrumentation, while also learning toolpath generation, process planning, and quality control. Lab projects provide experience with CNC programming and process optimization. Format: 2 Lectures, 1 Lab. Prerequisite: MTH 124 or equivalent.
