Catalog description

Study of fundamental engineering materials including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites. Emphasis on structure-property relationships, processing methods, and applications in engineering technology. Students explore mechanical, thermal, and electrical behaviors of materials with practical examples in manufacturing and design. Format: 2 Lectures, 1 Lab. Prerequisite: High school algebra (2 years) or ENT 133 .
