Advanced English Language Learner Speaking and Listening

Catalog description

For students whose first language is not English. Intensive practice in spoken English in an academic context; includes discussion, formal presentations, understanding lectures and note-taking; to promote advancement of oral language fluency as well as acculturation to the American classroom experience; also includes casual spoken English. Prerequisite: Placement test or completion of ELP Level 3; This course is only available to students enrolled in the English Language Program.
