Catalog description

For students whose first language is not English. Intensive reading and vocabulary course focusing on developing advanced reading comprehension skills by engaging with complex texts across various genres, building academic vocabulary, and mastering strategies to identify implicit meaning, nuanced language, and critical analysis. Prerequisite: Placement test or completion of ELP Level 3: this course is only available to students enrolled in the English Language Program.
