Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to models of measurement and program evaluation. Principles of instrument/survey development will be addressed. The process of applying theories to specific evaluation questions will serve as a context for the course and allow students to design their own quantitative, qualitative and/or mixed methods evaluation plans. Students will accomplish this by acquiring data collection tools to analyze data in order to create evidence-based program modifications. Current trends and issues in community health and health professions will be discussed. Prerequisite(s): EDP 615 (Program Planning and Development in Health Professions), or permission of the instructor.
