Internship in Educational Leadership II

Catalog description
In this second internship experience, students will practice, apply, and mobilize knowledge and perspectives gained during their coursework in authentic school environments. Subject to instructor approval, students will take on projects and experiences designed to build student capacity for navigating leadership and policy dilemmas in dynamic school communities that benefit both the student and school. Students will collaborate with practicing school leaders, who have excelled in the promotion of a school environment focused on continuous improvement and shared vision, to complete a capstone project focused on an urgent school leadership challenge(s). The credit hours for this course are variable: 1--3 credit hours as scheduled by the Program Coordinator. Prerequisite: EDL 709 , which may be waived at the discretion of the Program Coordinator; graduate standing.
