Crisis Management & Trauma-Informed Leadership in Education

Catalog description

This course provides educational leaders with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from diverse crises in K-12 schools and higher education institutions. Emphasizing a trauma-informed lens, students will explore the psychological and social impact of adverse events on individuals and communities. Through interactive modules, virtual simulations, asynchronous discussions, and expert insights from guest speakers, participants will develop strategic leadership capacities to build crisis resilient educational systems. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
