School Law and Policy

Catalog description

Students in this course will develop a thoughtful understanding of school law and policy with an emphasis on the Ohio context. Students will be provided with authentic opportunities to apply their knowledge of school law and legal analysis to school policies and procedures that move schools in more democratic and innovating directions. Students will be challenged to mobilize their knowledge of school law and policy in a manner that safeguards the interests of students, families, and the institution at-large. Prerequisites: graduate standing.
