Catalog description

Development of mathematical techniques essential for understanding economic theory and performing economic research. Topics include calculus of several variables; linear algebra; classical, nonlinear, and convex programming; comparative statics; and dynamic programming. Prerequisite: ECO 315 and one of the following: MTH 222 , 231 , or 251 or permission of instructor.
