Catalog description
Study of system dynamics and control schemes used for continuous processes. Block diagrams, steady-state and dynamic response, Laplace transforms, computer simulations and closed loop control. Stability, tuning, and controller synthesis. Prerequisites: ( CPB 318 or CPB 418 or CPB 403/CPB 503 ) and ( CPB 204 with C or better) and ( CPB 324 or MME 202 or CSE 271 ).
