Students will analyze the mechanical properties of 3D-printed prototypes of biomedical implants and/or tissue-engineering scaffolds. Furthermore, polymers, as well metals and/or ceramics, will be used to study the surface characteristics (hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity) of biomedical materials. The lab is intended to provide students with hands-on experience and will complement the existing Biomedical Engineering courses. Pre-requisites or co-requisites: ( CPB 419/CPB 519 or CPB 423/CPB 523 ) and ( CPB 207 or CSE 174 )
