Catalog description

Fundamentals and application of the mechanics of fluids including properties, statics and dynamics of fluids, dimensional analysis and similitude, steady state flow, and topics in compressible flow. Prerequisite: PHY 191 or ( PHY 181 and PHY 183 ), and either CPB 219 or MME 211 , or permission of instructor. Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MTH 252 or equivalent. Cross-listed with MME 313 .
