Catalog description

This course connects students' study of leadership theories and approaches to their broader liberal education at Miami University. It emphasizes the practical application of leadership styles through a student-initiated experiential learning project. As a capstone experience, the project challenges students to integrate and apply their liberal education, leadership knowledge, and skills to create a meaningful impact on the community. The course affirms that leadership can emerge at any organizational level and that everyone has the potential to develop leadership skills. EL, SC. Prerequisite: Senior standing.
